Refined Interiors by LeeSa provides one-day redecorating consultations and related services.  Working directly with you during the consultation to determine needs, likes/dislikes, and your personal style, I will develop a written design plan that is a true reflection of what you want for your room. Certified Interior Redecorators have been trained to recognize common interior design and decorating mistakes and help you fix them, in a matter of hours.  My clients can afford it because I do not work on commissions or percentages, but instead work with you to make the most of what you already own to create beautiful spaces.

What do I do to schedule an appointment for a consultation?

You can contact me by email or phone to set up a call and get more information.  During our initial phone call, I will talk with you to get information of what you would like to do and I will answer any questions you may have about my services and fee structure.  From that point, we can schedule a consultation.  You will receive a written confirmation along with the fee schedule and a Client Agreement that outlines the agreed-upon work to be done. 

What do I have to do before the consultation?

You really do not have to do anything to prepare for the consultation.  However, I always ask my clients if they have inspiration files or photos that they want to share with me.  This helps me  better understand what you would like to achieve.

What happens during the consultation?

On the day of the appointment, I will first measure your room(s) to confirm the size.  Starting one room at a time, you and I will work together in the room(s) you specified for consultation.  A typical one-room consultation takes about 2-3 hours, depending on the room size.  During that time, I will work with you to review the room situation, determine your needs, preferences, and identify the solutions for creating the comfortable, functional space you want.  About half of the consultations do involve furniture and accessory rearrangement.  

What can I expect at the end of the consultation?

For Interior Refinement Consultations, you will receive a written design plan detailing specifics agreed upon during the consultation for each room worked on.  Based on the professional recommendations, the plan will reflect your needs and wants.  This can include, but is not limited to, new paint colors, a new room layout, accessories, lighting needs, and who you can call for additional service (as necessary).  If you are considering Personal Shopping as an additional service, we will discuss it at this time.

What are the fees?  When do you pay?

All the Interior Refinement Consultations are flat rate fees based on room size, and when necessary some travel time if outside the standard travel perimeter.  When you schedule your appointment, you will schedule a specific room or service and get the fee quote then, before the consultation takes place.  (The room size and fee is confirmed at the beginning of each consultation.)  So regardless of how long it takes for an Interior Refinement consultation, you know what you are paying upfront for each room.  You pay that day at the end of the consultation.   Hourly services include shopping, color-only consultations, art and accessory-only consultations.
